CLUB CAMP GENERAL INFORMATION

The Waterloo County Club Camp for Elite Athletes is intended for those athletes that are currently playing volleyball at the club level. Athletes from all clubs are encouraged and welcome to sign up and participate in an intense and competitive week of volleyball from some of the best volleyball coaches in the province.

We offer athletes a diverse volleyball experience by bringing in top level guest coaches who offer their incite and expertise in the game of volleyball. These coaches would include Dustin Reid, Head Coach of the Ryerson University Women's Volleyball Team; Tim Louks, Head Women's Volleyball Coach at McMaster University; Gabriele Jobst, Head Women's Coach at the Unversity of Waterloo and a former member of the Canadian Women's National Volleyball Team; Janet Cobb-Mulholland, the University of Waterloo assistant coach and a member of the 1992 U.S.A. Olympic bronze medalists; and Sarah Pavan, 2006 NCAA Player of the Year..

All volleyball skills will be covered with a great deal of emphasis on team offensive and defensive systems. Competition amongst groups is also an integral part of our day, and given the level of athlete makes for an intense, competitve but enjoyable club camp experience.

The camp will operate from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm from Monday to Friday during the week of July 26 to July 30.

You need to bring...

  • The desire to improve your individual and team volleyball skills
  • Gym shoes (non-scuffing), shorts, t-shirt, and knee pads
  • Your lunch on all days except the last day of camp
  • A water bottle and snacks for the day
